Format

Format the upside-down U. in stonehenge or the ulmer stool, the typology of this structure has retained its formal power to this day.

format, borrowed from the latin formatum: shaped, regulated. today commonly used for: dimension, standard size, and as a term for above-average qualities, significance, inner attitude.

format is a sitting and standing table in solid wood or birch plywood with two flush panel legs. the tabletop and panel legs have an identical thickness of approx. 25 mm. the internal apron is coated black or available in the respective wood species. format is supplied permanently glued.
